the pharoh finds out his real name (atem) and gains his power back. but he has to have a final duel so he can return home (if he loses, he stays). he plays against yugi and loses, but being able to accept and learn from defeat was his final test and he goes home.
Yugioh GX endend at episode 155 in the English series because the voice actor of Jaden quit. But if you watch the japense version it goes up to EP. 180. Anyways the series ends when Jaden(Judai) meets the matured Yugi. Yugi says something about friendship and jaden goes back in time with the power of Winged Kuriboh. He is sent to the time when Yugi just won duelst kingdom he meets yugi they chat and then Duel. Jaden loses the duel when Yugi summons Slifer the Sky Dragon. Technicly he didnt lose when Slifer was summoned he was like "Thank you for that duel" and leaves in the middle forfiting. Jaden is then sent back to his time with Pharo (the cat) and his teachers soul, he then runs into the sunset. A pretty lame ending for such a series that dragged on this long
Yu-Gi-Oh gx was cancelled on Cartoon Network because it already aired its last episode. However, there is a new Yu-gi-oh series on The CW4Kids on Saturdays at 11am called Yu-gi-oh5d's
The last episode is episode 179 or 180. This is where Jaden and Yugi while he was still a kid duel. Ive seen the duel like 5 times it awesome.
