How do you tag a partner on WWE smackdown vs Raw 2008 on PS2?

Walk Up To Your Partner Do Not Touch The Analog Stick Just Walk Up (close)And Tap The "X" button

This does not work. I just punch my partener. Any other suggestions?

Walk over to your partner and press the "A" button. My husband figured it out on his own.

yes he is right u go close up to ur partner and tap x a couple times and it should tag ur partner in
