As with any child who loses a father, it's like losing your self,

Your future, your faith in God, and your purpose in life. You are no longer a child. You become your own person and begin a journey to find other people to transfer all the love and admiration you had for a father to others. At the same time you have to deal with guilt, loss, and feeling different. I think he changed direction and forgot his fears. In the face of sure death, we see the need to hurry on with our dreams or to live each day to its full capacity. Maybe he was running to relieve his agony...just running away from a sad place, that was once a happy place with his Mom and Dad as a child.

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?
