How do you make your room like Massie Block?

Here are some helpful tips that I use: - remove any items that are brightly colored and replace them with white items. - paint your walls white with a high gloss finish. you can also use an ivory or cream color if you don't think bright white will look good. - buy some white Massie- like items for your room in white or your white- like color. some items that Massie has in her room are: a white chaise, white mirrored pedestal night table, a sleigh bed (she also has a mini one for her puppy.), a white iMac, white sheepskin rug, and a white TV. - pick a new favorite color and add some items in that color to your room. (don't pick purple, because if you do, you'll be an eternal wannabe and Massie would never do that. She would pick a new color that not many people at her school like.) - keep a vase of fresh flowers in your room and replace them when they get wilted. - put up some simple posters of things you like. don't put up celebrity posters, they make your room look cluttered. - keep your room clean and organized if you want to achieve that Massie- perfect room. - if you can, get a phone line hooked up in your room on a bedside or mini coffee table. (remember white,) - keep not too many pieces of furniture in your room other that the necessary ones like a bed, dresser etc... you want your room to look as big as it can.

well.... Massie block's bedroom (From the movie) is all white, so you could paint your walls white or have a nice white wall paper, most of her furniture is white too. Her bed- her bed is what you call a divan bed; she also has nice, patterned pillows on her bed and white sheets and a bedside table. Her desk- her desk is also white and neat and tidy, she has an iMac too. She has a white wardrobe, but only for her mannequin(which she dresses for special occasions and plans out outfits),she keeps the rest of her clothes in her separate dressing room. Paintings- she has some nice paintings of shoes, but you could have whatever you want. Dressing table: She has a white dressing table in what i think is a regal style & stool. By her desk she has a pin board (cork board) with loads of pictures, you could do this too. She has a oval mirror just by the cupboard too. She has nice spotty curtains, so you could do nice textured curtains too. For a nice touch you could, just like her, add nice flowers to your room.

Tip: If you do make your room white it sometimes can be quite boring, add a little bit of colour, just the odd thing, e.g a purple (massie's fave colour) lamp. Make sure you also have lots of texture like in massie's bedroom she has a sheepskin rug under her desk and a huge rug in the middle of her room.
