Rubeus Hagrid.
As far as I can remember, the books don't really analyze this question. However, there are a few points that may have helped Harry believing Hagrid:* Hagrid's personality may have helped. * Hagrid himself is "unbelievable", being a half-giant. * Hagrid did some magic himself. * The letter from Hogwarts. * Uncle Vernon's reaction to Hagrid wanting to tell Harry the truth. * Harry's previous experiences with magic (he had accidentally done magic, now and then).
Hagrid decided to buy Harry's animal and gift it to him as a birthday present. Hagrid is allergic to cats as they make him sneeze and Toads were old fashioned, students would have laughed at and made fun of Harry and Hagrid didn't want that
Rubeus Hagrid was in Gryffindor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hagrid was in the Gryffindor house.

Neither. The shape of the hut is never mentioned in the books, but is octagonal in the films.
At Hagrid's hut, when Harry, Hagrid, And Horace Slughorn are having a "funeral" for Aragog.
They are outside, near Hagrid's hut.
He does this in "Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone", because he sees a student peeking in the window. He goes to close it, and is frightened because he has an illegal dragon in his hut.
1. Hagrid has a pumpkin patch in his garden. Use the Hover Charm (Wingardium Leviosa) to pick up a pumpkin. Then, use your wand to move the pumpkin to the top of Hagrid's Hut, directly on top of the chimney. Then, drop the pumpkin, making it fall into the chimney. The chimney will blow the pumpkin out. 2. Use Accio or Depulso on Hagrid's door, and the door will open slightly, and you will hear Fang, Hagrid's dog, bark. 3. There is a bone somewhere in Hagrid's garden. Use the Hover Charm to pick it up, and then send it through Hagrid's window. Fang will get the bone.
Dragons are illegal in the wizarding world. They are extremely hard to tame, aren't friendly towards people and set fires. Rubeus Hagrid also lives in a wooden hut.
It wasn't specfied how many windows his hut house. One of the drawings on Pottermore shows at least three windows (two on the front and one at the side). In the movies, his hut changes after the second film and gains more windows and an extra room.
Luna is located along a path the left past Hagrid's hut. You will need to feed the Thestrals in order for her to attend.
Buckbeak the Hippogriff was suppose to be be-headed at Hagrid's Hut, but Harry and Hermions saved him in the Prisoner of Azkaban. Nobody actually gets be-headed.
Rubeus Hagrid's mother was a giant named Fridwulfa. She left when Hagrid was three years old and returned to the Giants where she had another son. Fridwulfa died several years prior to 1996.
