How do you defeat Mr Freeze in Lego Batman?

Most characters will be unlocked as you play through story mode. Some will be given simply for completing the mission, others must be purchased after they are unlocked. Two special characters (Hush and Ra's al-Ghul) are unlocked in very specific ways.

Hush is unlocked after you rescue all 25 hostages.


Ra's al-Ghul is unlocked after you complete 100% of the game.

Keep a little distance between yourself and the Mr. Freeze, and he will try to use his freeze gun. When he does, run circles around him, so he can't hit you. When he tires, punch him and he will retreat to the upper level and switch on a fan. Destroy the fan by building a cannon and firing it at the fan. When he fills the tanks with lava jump across and pull the lever to reveal pieces. Put them together and push them to the wall, dropping a block of ice on top of Mr. Freeze and knocking him back to the floor where you can punch him again.

The yeti will be unlocked after you complete the mission Penguin's Lair. This is the fifth and final mission to capture Penguin. The yeti will cost you 9,000 points. Alternately, you can just enter the cheat code: NJL412

Killer Moth will be unlocked and available in free play after you complete the fourth mission of the third villain episode: The Lure of the Night. Alternately, you can enter the appropriate cheat code, see related questions below.

You must complete the Power Crazed Penguin chapter in Hero Mode than complete the first part of the same chapter in villan mode.
