(in case if you haven't seen the film) What really happened is that Mr.Harvey pulled her by her leg, then raped her, cut her up in pieces then put all her remains in a safe. He threw the safe away in that pit place (IDK what it's called) When he got caught by Susie's sister when she stole his book that had his plans to what he was going to do to Susie's sister (btw Mr.Harvey tried to do the same thing to her sis)
Well, in the movie it just shows her escaping but that is just in her mind. He has killed her with a knife ... Nobody knows if she was raped. In the book, It says that he raped her, then killed her with a knife. In the film they do not show her being killed though.
