Know one knows yet but as of right now she's in a coma after using all her chakra to save the villagers from her fight with one of pain's 6 other lives in the manga and danzo is temporary hokage so she might die or she might stay alive

Actually, I have a theory, in chapter 516- 518 maybe. His brother gets resurrected by Orochimaru/Kabuto. Plus if you look back a little farther you find all the akatsuki that have been killed, the jinnjurikis that have been assassinated, and the kages all been brought back to life too. The people who were brought back were either part of the akatsuki, or were killed by a member of the organization. So if you think about it. His brother, was killed by a member, either on a mission, or just trying to protect Sai.
