Plus if you look back a little farther you find all the akatsuki that have been killed, the jinnjurikis that have been assassinated, and the kages all been brought back to life too. The people who were brought back were either part of the akatsuki, or were killed by a member of the organization. So if you think about it. His brother, was killed by a member, either on a mission, or just trying to protect Sai.
