They resisted the poisonous flower for as long as they could and found an alternative. The alternative was a very similar not poisonous flower called a hibiscus. The hibiscus was very rare. Even though they knew it wouldn't last long they devoured all of the hibiscuses in the universe. Little did they know that the hibiscuses were vital to survive at the time.
