I suggest you research the following individuals, however: Solon, Pisistratos, Hippias and Hipparchos (Pisistratos' sons), and Kleisthenes/Cleisthenes. They are some of the key figures in the beginning of the democracy. Read a book to find out more - I recommend Greece in he Making by Robin Osborne, which you should be able to find in a city or school library.
