How did Maria Gomez work for justice?

maria Gomez decided to teach adults and children to read and write because she felt that they should be able to read what is given to them e.g. bills, because thay were being cheated out of their money by the government. the government of El Salvador didnt like what she was doing so they had her killed-they took her out of the school house while she was teaching some children, and her body was later found dumped by the side of the road, she had acid burns on her shoulders and was badly beaten. She is known as a religious hero!
