How did Inez Alisa Smith from 'Celebrity Rehab' die?

Inez Alisa Smith was a staff member at Pasadena Recovery Center she would help out when VH1 would record celebrity rehab she helped administer the medication and help the patients out and she was also my friends wife.

Someone asked this question on another thread and I believe Inez's son answered with this statement:

"Inez Randall (Inez Golden) died on December 27, 2010 at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, Ca. She is survived by three sons Julious Golden, Frederick Joseph Robinson & Johnathan Golden and 2 daughters Jahta Peach Lee & Jalinda Golden. My mother suffered from liver cancer which then spread throughout her body over in a short period of time. She was very loved and is in a better place today and will be truly missed. Her body now resides peacefully at Live Oak Memorial Park Cemetery in Duarte, Ca.The last season of Celebrity Rehab, where she was a resident Tech at the Pasadena Recovery Center, was in my mother s memory.

I am her son, Johnathan Golden."
