Henry Cele (who rose to fame after appearing in the miniseries Shaka Zulu, which later was turned into a full movie) died on November 2, 2007 two weeks after entering a Durban hospital. He died of complications arising from a chest infection. His wife, Jenny Hollander, was with him till the end.
Cele was a celebrated soccer player before he took up acting.
