How did Harry Potter live after he died?

he gives him a container filled with all the important memories of Snape's that he (Snape) thinks will be useful to Harry, or explain things more clearly. They (mostly) revolve around Snape and Lily (Potter's Mum) starting from childhood right up to the time that Lily dies and the discussion that followed (with Dumbledore) after. It explains to Harry that even before Harry came to Hogwart's Snape was trying to help him, acting as spy for Dumbledore. Snape loved Lily so much that he protected her only son by spying even though he could have died because of it. It also explains to Harry that he (Harry) must die at Voldemort's hand to destroy the seventh Horcrux (himself).

His memories. Just before he died, Snape removed some of his memories from his head, and gave them to Harry. Harry watched them in the Pensieve in Dumbledore's office. They explained Snape's past, his motives, and all the details of Dumbledore's plan for defeating Voldemort (details which Dumbledore had told only Snape). The memories told Harry what to do next, which is very fortunate since he didn't have a clue.

Harry Potter didn't die. He was hit by the killing curse but it only killed the Horcrux inside of him which gave him the choice to either die or go back.
