How did Bonnie Wright audition for a part in Harry Potter?

At the age of 9, Emma Watson went to a Drama school called the Dragon School. There she was inspired and found a love for the performing arts (acting). Then at a school assembly she was chosen with other students to audition for the role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies. After she auditioned several times for the role she got to meet Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe. Thn she was told that she was going to be playing the role of Hermione Granger.

Emma's drama teacher suggested she audition for the role when the casters went around the schools. She auditioned in her school gym and said it was just like a normal drama lesson. When Christopher Columbus and JK Rowling saw her audition tape, they knew she was perfect for the role.

Emma then had to audition a couple more times with young actors, so they could find the right Ron Weasley and Harry Potter.
