1. An author writes a book.
2. Books have more info.
3. In books you imagine things (what the character looks like, acts like, characters surroundings)
4. In a movie you actually see the character, his/her surroundings,and their actions.
5. A movie is based on the book.

Same plot and characters. They're never ever the same. There are always mistakes in the movies. The books are usually better. EX: "Twilight" the book is waaaayyy better than the movie.
