Yes, once in the Wipeout Zone. A contestant went through the big foam drum thing and when he fell out, his arm got caught on the side. The medics came in and said that he pulled his shoulder out of place.

Sort of. Tom Sparks had a stroke while trying to compete in the obstacle course. He complained that his knee hurt and (more importantly) he had shortness of breath. After being rushed to the hospital and 5 brain surgeries later, he died on November 5, 2009. The doctors blamed the stroke on a pre-existing condition that Sparks was not aware of. This condition caused abnormal clotting of his blood, which caused the stroke. He was 33 years-old and had only been married a few months at the time of his death.

Well you take the risk going on wipeout. So to answer that YES people have gotten hurt on wipeout. I remember an episode were someone make it to the wipeout zone and could not do it because she had gotten hurt.
