She openly admitted that she has slept with thousands of men, but not once did she mention a lesbianin her life. And in the 1950-1960s lesbians were rare.

She did have a one night fling with Joan Crawford. Joan enjoyed the encounter and wanted more but, Marilyn did not enjoy it and refused further moments. This scorned Joan Crawford and had nothing ever to do with Monroe again.

The FBI was investigation was due to the fact that she was married to Arthur Miller and that time they wanted to see if she was connected with Communist. During that time they had a witch hunt of Hollywood Stars that they were trying to cast as Communist. Then the FBI investigated her again under Hoover to dig up stuff about the Kennedy's and Mafai connections. Again this second investigation was a way to thwart both Kennedy's activities.

It's reported Barbara Stanwick, Elizabeth Taylor, and others. The thing is I think the girl was confused totally and she had many psychological issues that today would of been treated .

Actually, it was reported she an on going affair with her drama teacher and when she broke it off the lady stalked her and then she took up with a man acting coach.

I think she was really confused and wanted love from anywhere she could get it . She had a lot of issues . Abandonment issues, some schitzophrenia, she had a fractured personality due to the trauma of her childhood thus creating multiple personalities. She could of had bisexual relationships with her mental status being so fragile. Bottom line she wanted to be loved and tried to find a way to fix her childhood. She became promiscuous due to that childhood. It think over all she perhaps really wasn't a lesbian. She was confused about what and how to receive love and people took advantage of that fact .
