However, we might find out in the Shaman King movie Shonen Jump is planning to publish in 2012. The manga goes on to explain how Hao became Shaman King, and was planning to destroy humanity until the spirit of his mother slaps Hao around a bit and scolds him for seeking revenge for her death. Combined with Yoh's acceptance and friendship with Hao (the manga is a lot more complicated than the anime) and everyone else's acceptance of his rule, Hao becomes a good shaman king. Anyway, at probably the beginning of Summer 2009, Shonen Jump published a monthly magazine copy which just gave some detailed information about what happens in the anime, and also any other questions that they hadn't answered when the series was in publish. Well, now let's hopefully wait for 2012, when the movie is going to come out.
