no, so far the authors of Naruto haven't considered killing off Kakashi-san in a way of pain, but that doesn't mean he might go through suffering or even die. the only mostly-positive person who will die is Sasuke. you can find a hidden trailer funeral scene, but most say it was actually another flashback on Asuma-san's burial with really good photoshopping!

Naruto does beat pain, but not alone. Some of pains bodies are destroyed before he engages in combat. The last body, Pains real body, dies because he uses the last of his energy to resurrect the people in the leaf village who died because of him.
