There parents abondened them when they were babies but there father divided his power into three parts. Ice to Icy, Storm to Stormy, and Darkness to Darcy. After that there parents had to leave in the care of the ancestor witches to protect them, because they were being hunted down by an force. Their parents dissapeared and the ancestor witches put magic on griffen for her to enroll the the three sissters Icy, Darcy, and Stormy into Cloud Tower. ( Yes, they are sisters. They just don't remember half their life because of the ancestor witches spell.)
