(Manga answer) : As Kurosaki Isshin has only appeared in his shinigami form once in the series, the answer is Ichigo still does not know his father's identity ie. in no episode does he find that out, despite Kon mentioning it in the events afterwards.
He has shown himself twice. Once against the Hollow that killed his wife and the next in front of the Quincy's dad.
He shows himself in episode 111, and in manga he finds out in chapter 397 page 19. He is with Kon in Ichigo's body so technically Kon finds out.
Wrong, kinda, your right about the first part exept the whole he doesn't find out. He does find out that Isshin was no wait, he is a shinigami just Exiled, in Episode 296 (anime, Fake Karakura Town Arc Part 2) and Chapter 397,398 (manga) and the Quincy is Uryu Ishida and his dad is Ryuken Ishida.
It hasn't been revealed yet but Ichigo's mother is also a Quincy. Ichigo's a purebred. The reason I know that is because of hints throughout the show, including what she wore and the stuff she had around the house. Also Aizen hints at it. Ichigo is the first child born between a Quincy and a shinigami which is what made him special. The only thing I don't understand is why his sisters don't have his extreme powers if they both have the same parents.
As of currently, Isshin Kurosaki, father of Ichigo, Karin and Yuzu Kurosaki, is alive and well.
Right in the middle of the arrancar arch. Kon was in Ichigos body and was being chased by the hollow that killed Ichigos mother, but this time he was transformed by Aizn.
In the Bleach Anime, Uryuu Ishida does love his father and vice versa.
Episode 78.
Ichigo sees his father as a Soul Reaper in the anime Bleach episode 32 titled "Stars and the Stray." In this episode, Ichigo's father, Isshin Kurosaki, reveals his true identity as a former Soul Reaper captain.
NO! The real answer is yes. Bleach 111, at 17:03. The Fisher King says "That makes you Ichigo's..." Ichigo's father says "old man..." The Fisher King replies, "I see. With a shiningami for a father, Kurosaki Ichigo is of pure blood." Source: http://www.imeem.com/areniece89/video/gC2m_o0F/bleach-111-animation-video/ I have to say this answer is wrong. In the manga (if you people would acutually READ it because they explain stuff better). The deff. of PURE BLOOD is- A person who was born with shinigami powers. This means you only need ONE parent who is a shinigami to have a pureblood- unless they left out info. SO I'm not saying Ichigo's mother was or was not a shinigami, but that is wrong. His mother very well could have been AND PROBABLY WAS a human

Ichigo's father is the Soul Reaper Isshin Kurosaki.
Episode 111: Shock! The Father's True Identity
As of currently, Isshin Kurosaki, father of Ichigo, Karin and Yuzu Kurosaki, is alive and well.
i think it was father's day
bleach is my favorite show and the story i heard of how bleach got its name was that in the first episode of bleach before rukia could give ichigo her powers he would have to die first and so he drank bleach which was so close because his father had left it out side with the garbage from it " not working well" that's the story i heard but it was taken out of the show for some reason

there isn't a real reason. he was just born with high spiritual pressure.
Hadn't got that far in Bleach yet.... Thanks for the screamer..... Have you watched Death Note yet?
SPOILER ALERT:In episode 78, Uryu obtains an artifact that allows him to temporarily regain his Quincy powers to fight the Bounts, also known as vampires, while they are in the Soul Society. in episode 112, he decides to regain his powers by agreeing with his father to never associate with a Shinigami, Soul Reaper, ever again. In episode 126, after reaching his final level of exhaustion from trying to dodge Ryuken's, his father's, arrows, Ryuken shoots Uryu with an arrow from a spiritual bow 19 millimeters to the right of uryu's heart, which is the only way for a Quincy to regain his powers. His powers were lost when he used the Quincy's final form which is obtained after breaking the glove to exceed maximum strength. This maximum strength eventually wears off after a few hours after breaking the glove. In episode 142, he finally is actually seen with his Quincy uniform on again, showing that he has truly gained his Quincy powers.
