yes they should because then they can listen to how he feels about people, and many look up to him too, like me!lol.but some people don't recommend it because he has so much swears in his songs, but that's why peopel buy edited copies of his albums, so they don't hear da swears.so all in all, its the parents own choice to let their kids listen to his music.
People shouldn't base the type of music they listen to on the genre alone. That's just like choosing to ignore people because of their race or ethnic background.
Although most rap/hip hop songs people listen to are about somewhat unfavorable subjects, an equal amount are actually about favorable things such as love, encouragement, equality and justice. For example, "Not Afraid" by Eminem and "Can't Hold Us Down" by Christina Aguilera.
The type of musical genre does not affect its content. It's possible for Classical Music to talk about sex and drugs, or for Country Music to talk about violence and killing. Likewise, raps can be about love and understanding, while hip hop could even be gospel. The same goes for race. Sometimes people have stereotypes about different races, such as white people will always end up musicians and politicians, Asians will end up scientists, while black people will end up on the street or selling drugs. This couldn't be more wrong, as we now see today.
The point is you shouldn't base whether kids should listen to a certain type of genre, in this case rap, but whether they should listen to certain types of lyrical content.

The songs they listen to are mock recordings of famous goth bands (Bauhaus, seen as 'Blauhaus' in a poster located in the goth girls room), and an industrial band called 'Skinny Puppy'. Because of the misconception of death metal=Goth, a lot of people assume the goth kids from the show listen to metal, but not once in the entire series do they mention metal, let alone listen to it.
Most of Robert Pattinsons songs are not happy. They are meant to be depressing songs. Some of his songs are happy though. If you listen to his song 'Let me Sign' it is fairly depressing.

If the children you babysit don't listen, bribe them. Say something like: If you listen, I will let you have this candy. Or if the kids can't have food, say: If you listen, the next time I babysit I will take you to the park.
Well, when it comes to music, it's important to remember that different songs have different messages and themes. Soulja Boy's songs often contain explicit language and mature content, so it's a good idea for parents to listen to the songs first and decide if they're suitable for their kids. Remember, it's always okay to have open conversations with children about the music they listen to and help them make informed choices.
