Well i am an actor myself and it just depends on how good you are. It took me only a few months of training and if you are new to acting then it will probably take a little bit longer for you but don't get discouraged because i got turned down by some talent agencies and everyone else has but i never gave up and now i appear on the Disney channel as an extra and sometimes on lead roles but yes it all depends on how gifted and talented you are!

Heck NO. In fact the majority of the "biggest celebs" currently out there never went past high school, if that. Do a little tooling around and searching on IMDB.com or Wikipedia and you'll see for yourself. While there are some that have gone on to college and even some that went on to do post-grad work (both in acting and./or other studies), the majority have been actors since, well since forever. Dont take this answer has a poster ad for "dont go to college if youre an actor" because their are many actors who have gone or are currently going to specialized schools such as the Tisch School for Performing Arts at NYU (New York City) among others. Its just kinda like "to each his own" kinda thing. So, do some research on the individual celebs and whatnot and then you'll get a better understanding of what Im talking about.
