Jane Bannister adopted her mother's stage name as her own last name. I do not know if the necessary legal documents for her name change were ever filed. Jane Harding graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, receiving a B.A. in History in 1949. Jane Harding married stockbroker Alfred Paul Otto Jr., in San Francisco, CA, in 1957. Alfred Otto and Jane Harding Otto had one daughter, Diana Harding Otto, born in San Francisco, CA on August 30, 1958. When Alfred Otto died on October 29, 1985, Jane H. Otto divided her time between San Francisco and Santa Fe, NM, where she was very active in civic and society functions.
