In Fushigi Yuugi, Tamahome is Miaka's partner. Later on, since Miaka and Tamahome couldn't stay together in the same dimensions (Miaka had to go back to her dimension when she had fulfilled her role as priestess of Zuzaku and Tamahome didn't exist in her dimension and if stayed would disappear.), Miaka went back home, and Tamahome was reincarnated into Taka in her dimension so they could stay together (though had a little trouble at first finding each other). So now Taka is her partner.
Taka is like the "real world's" version of Tamahome. Since Tamahome lives in a book called 'The Universe of the Four Gods'. Think of Taka as Tamahome or Tamahome's Reincarnation in the real world who's lives with Miaka in her world and remermbers her from "The Universe of the Four Gods" Book.
Not in the manga, neither in the anime. She get's pregnant in the OVA's though...but she has the baby girl in the last episode of the OVA's.
Firstly Nuriko is killed by Ashitare in book 9. Then Chiriko and Mitsukake sacrifice themselves in books 11 and 12. And Hotohori is killed by Nakago in book 13 All the Seiryuu warriors - excluding Amiboshi - die. Nakago kills Ashitare, Suboshi kills Tomo, Chiriko kills himself and Miboshi, Tasuki kills Soi (while aiming for Nakago), and Tamahome kills both Suboshi and Nakago. Then there's other smaller characters: Shoka, Tamahome's dad, Chuei, Gyokuran, Shunkei, Yuiren, (I would include Hikitsu and Tomite but they were already dead) and Tatara Several Kutoh assassins, loads of zombies and tons other unnamed characters who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time or who attacked Miaka et al.
Currently there has not been any report saying that there is a second season for Hatenkou Yuugi but there should be a second season as the last episode of it has already mentioned that this is only a journey and the trial begins now.
