Eminem was having a show to promote his EP, and on the flyer it listed the names of artists who might Be there, on the list was ICP it said (ICP.....Maybe).
They got pissed that he used their name to try to draw people to his show and they didn't come because of that. The first recorded diss to ICP was in "Till Hell Freezez"
The diss,
"Spaced out like Sci Fi TV, F*ck ICP, Buy my CD!!"
Then they responded, Eminem responded, They responded. D12 shot their car with paintballs after chasing them out of a club.
Thats the story according to Violent J, Eminem never said exactly what happened.

∙ 13y agoNo. Eminem is a Detroit rapper who had no link with ICP (Insane Clown Posse) until he advertised on a poster/flyer that they were to be appearing with him on stage! Lead member of the ICP got mad and swore at Eminem for doing this! After dis tracks were released including 'Slim Anus' a song mocking Eminems 'My Name Is' the feud has died down in recent years!

because ICP refused to perform at eminems concert to launch his debut album. they didnt go because eminem wrote on a flyer that there is a posibility of an ICP appearance without consulting ICP first. So they said no to make him look like stupid.
