Yes, he did, three times in fact. First, he was married to Natalie Talmadge. He second wife was his nurse Mae Scriven and his last wife was Eleanor Norris who he remained married to for twenty three years until his death in 1966.

Yes, two sons, James (Jimmy) (b. 1922) and Robert (Bobby) (b. 1924), by his first wife Natalie Talmadge. But the wealthy and snobbish family of their mother, whose sisters were major stars in the '20s, and whose mother looked down on Buster, dominated the boys' childhoods while Buster was working nearly non-stop, making his incomparable '20s masterpieces. She kept the boys at a distance from him after their divorce in 1932, (when she took nearly everything he owned from him, precipitating, along with his loss of creative control of his work, the long decline which it took decades for him to overcome). She even changed the boys' last names to Talmadge, as a vindictive blow to him. Later, as young adults, and men with growing families, they re-established a relationship with him and his godsend third wife, Eleanor. Both sons eschewed Hollywood and showbiz, and only one of their children, (his grandchildren) has shown a little of the eye of their great progenitor--I believe one of his granddaughters is a painter, and has used Buster as a figure in some of her work.
