Did Zac Efron really sing in High School Musical?

No. The only song Zac sung was "Breaking Free." Andrew Seeley sang the other songs. You'll see that Seeley has a singing credit on all the "Troy" tracks. Zac does do the singing in HSM2. Listen to "Getcha Head In The Game", then listen to a HSM2 song -- completely different singers.

Because the put the songs in keys that he could sing in AnswerZac Efron is a baritone, his voice can't sin anything too high or too low. For the songs in a high key, they used his voice, but for the lower keyed songs they used Andrew 'Drew' Seeley's voice.

well, he obviously used his own voice to talk, but Zac didn't use his voice to sing. Drew Seely (srry idk how 2 spell it) did the singing in the recording studio, while zac efron was on screen lookin good lol

Zac Efron DOES sing in all high school Musical Movies. You can tell by his trademark nasal voice. However, it is actor Drew Seeley who sings the higher notes which Zac can't handle. He does not go on tour because he can't sing on his own so Drew Seeley takes his place. But if Zac couldn't sing then why is he always approached for musicals. I.e. High School Musical, Hairspray, Footloose.......etc. Hope that was of help to you :)
