At Hogwarts there are four houses named; Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Each house has it's own trait, colours, ghost and important artefact.Gryffindor was formed by Godric Gryffindor and holds the bravest students to pass through Hogwarts. Yes he is to the bloods through one of his half brothers
That is a very hard question to answer. Considering the fact that Harry is indeed half-blood (his mother was muggle-born and I believe his father was pureblood) and Ginny is pureblood, i'd say they were half-blood. Since Harry is half-blood there is no possible way for them to become pureblood.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 isn't set at Hogwarts and Professor McGonagall was still teaching there. She appears in the second half of the movie when Harry, Ron and Hermione go back to Hogwarts.
he is a direct descendent of salazar slytherin, so the sorting hat probably sensed that. Plus slytherin isn't only for pure-bloods, as Snape was in that house, and he was the Half-blood Prince. Also, even Harry is a half-blood, and he was told by the sorting hat that he would do well in slytherin.
Basically, in the Harry Potter novels, you become a Slytherin if the Sorting Hat chooses you for Slytherin. The same applies to any of the other three houses. And the Sorting Hat will sort you into the houses, based at least in part on your qualities.
Salazar Slytherin neither a bad guy nor a good guy. He was one of the founders of Hogwarts (Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff). Although he was strict about who would be in his house (he said only half blood or pure blood wizards and witches were allowed--no muggle borns.)
No,demigods are half-bloods and half-bloods are half mortal half god

In the wizarding world, Lily Smith is a very intelligent and excellent witch of Gryffindor house, attending Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. She fought in the battle of Hogwarts and was a member of the DA. She is indeed a pure blood, but she is friend with many half-bloods and muggle borns. Loves by all.

No, it was being ruled by the Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters. All half-bloods and pure-bloods between the ages of 11 and 17 were forced to attended and the muggle-borns had to go into hiding because of the muggle-born registration committee. Many students who supported the order were forced into hiding and were badly beaten.
