Yes, He did appear for a brief few seconds on Episode 49, The Jinx. He runs in just before they start dancing and picks up Leon, Clint Howard, and carrie's him off the dance floor.

I just watched this episode and did not even see Leon, let alone Martin Sheen! Plus, as this aired in 1962, Shhen would have only been 22, not 37 as Anonymous said above.

He was not on the guest star list nor the cameo role list. I could not find a 'bit player' list for that series.

yes. Just watched the episode on Netflix. Didn't find any mention of this anywhere. He was only on camera for a second picking up Clint Howard. I think that was also hos first episode

That’s not true. He was born in 1940, he was on the episode only for a moment. He would have been 37 at the time.
