Current reports are that 44 year old Heavy D died from respiratory issues. He collapsed outside his home in Beverly Hills on November 8, 2011 and could not be resuscitated. He was pronounced dead two hours later at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Final autopsy results will be released, and an official cause should be given then. He was recently released from the hospital, and had been fighting pneumonia. It is commonly believed that he died from related complications.
