no she wasn't the first person to record At Last.

It was written for the movie Sun Valley Serenade in 1941. A sound-track recording was made by Glenn Miller and Ray Eberle but never made it into the film. A new arrangement was prepared and the full tune appeared in the next Miller film, Orchestra Wives, in 1942.
