Yes, he was married twice. Hard to find infomation on the names of the two ladies. He produced children with both wives, and apparently other women as well. He was the father of 11 children! However it was also widely known that he once dated veteran singer/entertainer Freda Payne. Edmund Sylvers came from a large and very talented family, who largely enjoyed success in the 70's and the very early 80s.

Such ballads as "Roulette Wheel Of Love," were sang by Charmaine Sylvers who had a lovely voice and range. She also sang the low tempo on Fool's Paradise. This family was indeed a total package, extremely talented, sadly underrated, and felt by many fans..... unfairly compared to the Jacksons during their heyday. God Bless The Sylvers, and RIP to Edmund and Chris!
