Yes. Charles Stanley had repeat "prayer" encounters on religious cruises with wife of a musician. The musician, now in his late 70's/early 80's, was widowed a few years a go. On religious Carnival cruise in January 2010 with Charles Stanley as the head-liner, the talkative musician sat our lunch table along with me, my wife and two other couples who happened to be in the ministry. The musician proudly related that he was personal friends with Charles, eating with him at dinner each night, and that Charles had personally invited and paid for his cruise because of a special friendship with the musician's family. The musician stated that Charles Stanley, who was without his wife on these cruises, was a real man of prayer. In fact, for years on similar cruises, Charles would call the room of the musician and ask for the musician's wife to come up and pray with him in Charles room on the ship by themselves. And she would go and have great extended "prayer" time alone with Charles Stanley. The musician repeatedly stated he trusted Charles Stanley. In fact, when the musician's wife died, he reported that Charles left a vacation to come preach her funeral. And now, he was honored by the continued friendship of Charles, who continues to invite him on cruises and join him at dinner.

Draw your own conclusion. All three of us couples were completely shocked by the open and proud statement by the musician. Do you, when sane and not emotionally driven, think that any straight male can repeatedly, over years, "pray" for extended periods of time with a female alone in a room in a cruise ship without have sex? If you believe that, there are some unique investment opportunities you might be interested in. In short, Charles Stanley is an un-repentant adulterer.

I don't believe for one minute that Charles Stanley had an affair with someone! Shame on the one that has even suggested this. Fact, if he did it is NO ONE'S BUSINESS. He doesn't have to answer to anyone except the Lord our God. We all have sinned. Before you throw any stones, think of your own self. May God bless you Charles and I will keep watching you on T.V. as long as you teach the word.
