After the death of her first husband Melvin "Ted" Webb (1906-1959) she married Thomas Butcher on Nov. 26, 1960 in Wabash, Indiana. He died Feb 5 2001, in Wabash at the age of 83. He was a devoted stepfather for all of Clara and "Teds" eight children and was always there for them.
