Yes, he did. I was there and saw it all: believe me, there was plenty of rump-rangin' out there on the gay prairie. During shooting, Chuck frequently referred to Johnny as "my little posse pardner." That's one reason so many episodes focus on Luke protecting Mark from other older men, in particular the "Rough Riders" gang, and a group of Mexican donkey thieves, or "los banditos de los culos" in Spanish. However, though Johnny was more than willing (he was usually the "top"), he was still under the legal age of consent, their relationship was frequently described as statutory "rump-rangin."
no. he was married three times. all three marriages were to women. he fathered at least one son. conners seems to have been the foil for a cruel joke which many have stated started with Larry flint in hustler magazine when flint reportedly published a photo from a gay stag film evidently from the 1950's which still circulates the underground today reportedly and said that the male involved was conners.
He had 4 sons.........one is dead. He had the same name as his father keven. He died in 2003 I believe. If he was gay, It was on the side like most of them............who really cares.........He was happy and would probably punch you out for sticking your noses into his business........He was a proffessional Basketball player and a professional Baseball player before the movies.........Larry flint is a no life.............Loves to ruiin other peoples lives and reputations.........I 've always loved the rifle man movies.........what you seen is what you got..........that was him.........If he did have some sexual problem like most of us do............well, that was his business, not ours
They were not GAY, GREAT ACTORS very compatible' although during hard times of searching for parts in acting Chuck Conners did a Gay Film shoot with another guy as a sailor, The film does show him naked and in sexual context' as for Johnny Crawford he as any experimental teen boy had had a girly magazine with his best friend on the show with mutual stimulation! And many of Johnny Crawford songs was to do with love? Including the one song he was singing "they think I'm too young and don't know what I'm doing! GREAT ACTORS!
also the comment about all gay man is a tractive to him because he's straight masculine
both
Connors was born on April 10, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York City, the elder of two children born to Marcella (née Londrigan) and Alban Francis "Allan" Connors, immigrants of Irish descent from Newfoundland and Labrador.[2] He had one sibling, a sister, Gloria, who was two years his junior.[2][3]
His father became a citizen of the United States in 1914 and was working in Brooklyn in 1930 as a longshoreman and his mother had also attained her U.S. citizenship in 1917.[2] Raised as a Catholic, he served as an altar boy at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Brooklyn.[citation needed]
Connors was a devoted fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers despite their losing record during the 1930s, and he hoped to join the team one day. A talented athlete, he earned a scholarship to the Adelphi Academy, a preparatory school in Brooklyn, where he graduated in 1939. He received additional offers for athletic scholarships from more than two dozen colleges and universities.[4]
From those offers, he chose to attend Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. There, he played both basketball and baseball for the school, and it was there, too, where he changed his name. Since childhood, Connors had disliked his first name, Kevin, and he had sought another name. He tried using "Lefty" and "Stretch" before finally settling on "Chuck".[3] The name derived from his time as a player on Seton Hall's baseball team. He would repeatedly yell to the pitcher from his position on first base, "Chuck it to me, baby, chuck it to me!" The rest of his teammates and spectators at the university's games soon caught on, and the nickname stuck.[4]
Connors, though, left Seton Hall after two years to accept a contract to play professional baseball.[4] He played on two minor league teams (see below) in 1940 and 1942, then joined the United States Army following America's entrance into World War II.[5][6] During most of the war, he served as a tank-warfare instructor at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and later at West Point in New York.
No, but The Flintstones did. Remember their secret society, The Loyal Order Of Water Buffaloes? What they do is secretly film their members in uncompromising positions and then blackmail them. The Grand Poobah pulled all the strings.
If you don't believe me listen to the very frank statement at the end of their theme song. "When you're with the flintstones have a yabba dabba doo time, a dabba doo time, we'll have a gay old time"
Probably as Chuck was bi and Johnny always wanted to please his dad,

Because Johnny Crawford was getting older, and starting to record songs and doing other acting roles. The shows ratings also started to drop after Season 3, when Milly left the show. They knew the show had to end and Jonny Crawford & Chuck Connors decided to finish it out.
