Anne Bancroft did not do her own singing in "Don't Bother To Knock".

With great respect to Ms. Bancroft's acting talent, the voice of the lounge singer is that of Eve (sometimes called Eva Marley) who happens to be my late mother Patricia Box.

At the time "DBTK" was filming Eva was dating the composer and bandleader Matty Malnick and through him she met and became friends with Billy and Audrey Wilder and traveled to Rome for the filming of "Roman Holiday" landing a small part as well.
