Did Angus Young do drugs

He doesn't admit it openly however I firmly believe he's into something, most probably cannabis and quite probably a stimulant on top of that. You don't make a sound that is so high (probably the most trippy riffs in rock history) out of tobacco and soda.

We'll have to wait until he finally admits it. Also, the time when he started doing music... drugs had almost a glamour status and were much more widely available than they are now.

Sorry if that doesn't provide physical evidence, but his musical evidence I reckon is vast.

I think Angus was the only one who wasn't either on drugs or a heavy drinker. He says he wouldn't always make it to the parties yet would be the last one out of bed in the morning, lol! I heard Malcolm was a heavy drinker at one stage as was Phil Rudd the drummer, I'm really not sure about the other band members. I would imagine he drank some booze in his early days though but not while he was onstage, he wouldn't be able to play or run around like that under the influence of alcohol, he's always looks far too focussed & balanced to be drunk or high. You only have to look at people like Elvis to see what people look like when they're on something while onstage, he always had such glazed eyes, there's no hiding it. I think people just assume Angus would be on drugs etc because he's in a hard rock band but you shouldn't tar everyone with the same brush, some people have their own minds & stick to their guns when it comes to stuff like that. I also think Bon Scotts death in 1980 would be a lesson to anyone with sense when it came to drink & drugs although he was apparently in good health when he died, it was the asphyxiation (choking, on his own vomit in his case) that killed him & not any sort of liver damage or anything. Angus also has a look about him, kinda heavy eye lids & stammers sometimes when talking but that's just the way he is in general (nerves probably, he might be a wild man onstage but seems totally normal & laid back in real life) Today the only vice the band has is smoking, lol.

No. Angus Young does not do any heavy drugs. He does however drink alcohol (on occasion) and smokes cigarettes.
