Snow White's Evil Stepmother wants to be the fairest of them all. But Snow White was, said the Magic Mirror. So The Stepmother/Queen, ordered a hunter to kill Snow White while she was picking flowers. But the hunter doesn't have the heart to do it, so he says "Run, before the queen finds you!". So that's what happened. So the conflict was that she was running in the dark, her Stepmother wanted to kill her, and she had no where to go.

The conflict in the movie is that her father (or at least she thinks it is he father) has died in war. She must move to a dark, cold attic where she is malnourished and almost freezes to death.

In the book, Sarah's conflict is that her father has wagered all of his money on a diamond mine, yet the diamond mine proves empty and her father dies penniless, of brain-fever, muttering "Sarah, my little princess..."

She is also cold and malnourished in the book.

Tiana and Prince Naeve(i don't know how to spell it) try to get the enchantment that binds them as frogs off. eventually, they come face to face with the sorcerer that cast the spell in the first place. Along the way, they fall in love. But, they do have some occasional spats. Like the choice between rowing and making music.
