A 2D Movie is when you look at a screen, and the movie isn't popping out of the screen, like in 3D movies. 3D, you have to look through specially made glasses, wheras in 2D, you don't need anything specially made except the TV, the DVD, Video or BluRay and the movie. Simple. I must interject here. If you go see a movie like Toy Story (made using computer graphics) and see it it without the 3D glasses...IT DOES NOT MAKE IT A 2D MOVIE!!! It is a CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) movie. When people refer to 2D animation they are talking classical animation. In fact they should not even be referring to that as 2D. It should be Classical and CGI Animation which by the way just happen to be 2 of many types of animation. Toy Story 3 is a CGI movie that can be seen in ENHANCED 3D. Its already in 3D. It means 3 dimensions. X Y and Z. The characters and animation move in all three of those zones glasses or not. The "3D" version with the glasses are just an enhancement of that.Thats my rant. I thank you. Here is an article that might shed so new light, http://www.engadget.com/2011/05/23/movie-theaters-could-screw-up-your-2d-movies-by-leaving-the-digi/
The answer is zero. A 2D shape has no volume.
The answer depends on what is known about the 2d shapes. The answer depends on what is known about the 2d shapes. The answer depends on what is known about the 2d shapes. The answer depends on what is known about the 2d shapes.
since a quadrilateral is 2D .hence it has no volume..............
It doesn't have any volume (3D) and it's not a line (1D). Thus, it is a 2D shape.
2D-area 3D-Volume
Volume is the amount of liquid a container can hold. Perimeter is the length of the borders outside a 2D figure. Area is the total space in a 2D shape.
It depends on the type of figure. If it is a 2D figure, then it is called area. If it is a 3D figure, then it is called volume.
A 2D in acrylic refers to a two-dimensional artwork created using acrylic paint. This medium is known for its vibrant colors, fast drying time, and versatility, allowing artists to achieve various effects on flat surfaces like canvases or paper. Unlike 3D art, which incorporates depth and volume, 2D acrylic works focus on shapes, colors, and patterns to convey their message or aesthetic. Artists often use techniques like layering, glazing, and blending to enhance the visual impact of their 2D creations.
The volume of a rectangle (or any other 2D object) is always zero. An object needs to be 3D to have volume.
The difference between 2d and 3d shapes is that, a 2d shape is flat, has no volume and depth and cannot be handled while a 3d shape can be held, has depth, volume and can hold things inside it. These are the dimensional shapes which are mostly used in geometry.
A cylinder is not a 2D object because it has three dimensions - length, width, and height. It has a circular base and a curved surface, which give it depth. A 2D object would only have two dimensions and would lack any depth or thickness.
The volume of any 2-dimensional object is always zero (0).but if it is not a 2d then it is a 3d and the volume of that would be bxh divided by3.
