I think it is ridiculous that a 14 year old is going out on dates. It is too young to be getting into that whole boy/girl thing. And there is a big difference in maturity levels at those ages. And lets face it, there is only one reason a senior in high school would go out with someone in junior high or middle school and that is illegal.

No it is illegal. The 18 year old is a adult while the 14 year old is a minor. The age of consent is 16 in many states and 18 in others. This means that the 18 year old can be charged with rape if sexual contract happens.
