Spongebob was born a long time ago in the seas of Bikini Bottom. His mum was called Sponge and his dad was called Bob. That's where he got his name: Spongebob! He has approximately 17 holes in his body (nobody has ever got close enough to count them yet). He moved out of his mum and dad's house when he was a teenager. He moved into his own house, a pineapple. This happened when the palm tree on the island on top of the sea shook and dropped a pineapple into the sea. Spongebob started to live in it and soon got hired at the Krusty Krab as a fry cook for his willing personality. His best friend is Patrick Star and his boss is Mr. Krabs.
