"Fried Green Tomatoes" has that as a subplot. Buddy, the older brother of Idgy Threadgood, dies when trying to retrieve a girl's hat.
On May 10, 2008 Jessie Jacobs was walking along the platform at Cheltenham station when she tripped and fell onto the tracks and into the path of an oncoming train. She couldn't move out of the way in time and died instantly from her injuries when the train hit her. That day she was on the way to meet her mother so they could buy a birthday present for her older half-brother Adam. Jacobs was 17 at the time of her death. The police took several hours to find the family because the teenager, who was arriving home from an overnight stay with a friend, was carrying fake ID. She is buried at St Kilda Cemetery in St Kilda, Victoria
The train and its whistle appear in the movie every time there is approaching danger. You'll hear it in the park before Bob's death, in the vacant lot when Ponyboy determines he's late getting home and will have to face Darry, and so many other times throughout the movie. Since S. E. Hinton wrote about "the greasers who live on the wrong side of the tracks," the train has played an important role in the novel and the movie. The train gives Ponyboy and Johnny a way out of the city when they run away to Windrixville, as well as the soundtrack for danger.
to start the ball rolling...train hits car on tracks and some passengers die. driver says he was only committing suicide! not murder....
Which blues musician recorded the tracks "Dimples" and "Boom Boom
Because there is a magnetic force between the train and tracks. This also makes the train more efficient and so there is less friction.
A magnetic bullet train works by using powerful magnets to levitate and propel the train along its tracks. The train is able to float above the tracks, eliminating friction and allowing for high speeds. Electromagnetic propulsion is used to push the train forward, resulting in a smooth and fast ride.
Magnetic levitation tracks are built by installing a series of electro magnets along a track. Power is the fed to the magnets which allow the train to ride above the rails and move along at great speeds.

Train tracks
Maglev stands for Magnetic Levitation. Means that the train will hover slightly over the track withoout direct contact making for a smoother ride.
You don't tie people to the train tracks. You can hogtie them and put them on the train tracks though.
Magnetic levitation trains use superconducting magnets or electrodynamic suspension magnets to levitate and propel the train. These magnets create a magnetic field that repels the train from the tracks, allowing it to hover above the rails and move smoothly at high speeds.
A magnetic levitation train is faster than a normal train because it does not have wheels. Instead, it uses powerful magnets to levitate above the tracks, reducing friction and allowing for higher speeds. Additionally, the absence of physical contact between the train and the tracks results in smoother and more efficient movement.
Maglev trains are faster than normal trains because they use magnetic levitation to reduce friction between the train and the tracks, allowing them to reach higher speeds. Additionally, maglev trains do not have wheels, which eliminates the rolling resistance experienced by traditional trains on tracks.
Yes. Train tracks are metal because if they were wooden such fast moving train wheels will cause friction on the wooden tracks, setting them on fire.
Magnetic levitation is the method used for maglev trains. In order to levitate a train, superconducting magnetic coils are used to completely expel the magnetic fields which will cause the trains to fly off its track.
