Well, when using the term as a general meaning of anyone who practices magick (not with a c, but with a ck), then yes, though most of us prefer the name witch (which really is both male and female). It's a real craft, just as woodworking, forging, and tailoring (though most of these other crafts are no longer done by humans, and instead by machines).

Yes, Witches do perform magick, but no, they're not evil. We don't sign an agreement with the devil, and we don't turn people into frogs. Magick isn't what you know it to be, and though it's completely morally neutral (not good or bad), most who use it will only use it for good.
