...However, having spent some time in them while my daughters have shopped there, I would say it is about the most uncomfortable feeling a man can get is a store. On more than one occasion a sales associate has asked if she can show me something. Saying "No, I'm only here to buy stuff for my daughters" gives entirely the wrong impression.
I find it rather easier to hand the credit card to one of the staff, tell her to charge whatever they want and then sprint out of the store, carefully looking anywhere but into the store because that looks a little creepy as well. It's expensive, but it's so much easier.
