Bill and Jen are currently trying to adopt. They have been working their way toward being parents by both working with a surrogate and by laying the groundwork for an adoption. Do to their unique forms of dwarfism, and childhoods spent dealing with those complications, they are prepared to accept children with unusual physical challenges into their family. During the season finale they met with a representative from Rainbow Children who informed them of a potential match for their family. We were not told if it does or does not have dwarfism as they have hoped for.

Let's hope that season 5 will let us follow them along their road to parenthood.

It would be too dangerous for Jen to carry the child, due to the obvious, but they have found a child through Rainbow children.

Before now, they had tried twice with a surrogate, but neither attempt was successful.

As of April 2014, Bill and Jen have adopted two children through Rainbow Children. They adopted a son, William, from China; and a daughter, Zoey, from India.
