A long summary of twilight

The Hazelwood Tigers have won their Basketball game and head out to celebrate. After a night of partying and drinking, Andy makes the bad choice to drive drunk and crashes. The accident results in the death of his best friend, Robert, and Andy blames himself. He tries to cope by seeing a therapist but he is overwhelmed with guilt. Guilt that soon claims his life when he decided that he can no long go on living when he caused his best friend to die.

Her name is Bella Marie Swan. She's decided to stay at her dad's for a while because her Mum and Phil have decided to travel around for a bit, for Phil's Baseball career.

She moves to a small town called Forks where it is constantly under a cover of rain. She expects to settle in and begin a normal life until she starts at Forks High School and she is introduced to the Cullen family. They stand out from everyone else. Each person in that family is said to be an orphan, well the teenagers anyways. But they all look different, yet they all have the same characteristics. The perfect hair, gold eyes, pale skin, melodious voice. They keep to themselves because they're together, like together, together.

'That's Rosalie and Emmett they're like a thing, then there's the short girl her name's Alice and that one over there he's Jasper the one that always looks like his in pain. And oh that's Edward Cullen, extremely good looking but apparently no one here is good looking enough for him. Their parents Mr and Mrs Cullen they're like foster parents slash match makers'.

She makes her way to her Science class where she is seated next to Edward Cullen. She's drawn to him because his different from the others. As she sits down she notices that he is covering his mouth, holding his breath, his hands are clenched tightly into fists. Does she really smell, she sniffs her hair but she smells like sweet, strawberries, so she begins to wonder, what is his problem?

She planned to confront him the next day, to demand what his problem was, but he never showed up, not the next day or the day after that things were starting to get a little weird.

She hears the screeching and scrapping of an out of control van but she doesn't have the time to react just as she is about to be smashed by the vehicle, Edward Cullen speeds towards her stopping the van with one hand. She is put into shock how did he get to her so fast?

As she is brought into the world where vampires are real, where you can run as fast as the wind and glide like the bird, well if you are a vampire anyways. The Cullen's they aren't like others of their kind, they relate to themselves as vegetarians- they feed only on animal blood. But as Bella discovers the truth she puts herself in a vulnerable position where, every waking hour will be a dangerous one.

She begins to fall for Edward, she's met her true love, her only love, as their love grows into something much more.

Strange killings are sighted in the small town of Forks where everything used to be still, a cult of human drinking vampires have settled into already claimed land, which results in a war to protect Bella and the Cullens.

They point to a book on India, wish themselves there, and the magic tree house spins and spins until it transports them. p.13 Annie talks to two monkeys (langurs), telling them that she and Jack need a "gift from the forest"; the monkeys seem to understand and become their guides. p.33 Annie tells Jack that an elephant just told her that the elephant's name is Saba. p.53-54 Annie says that Teddy the dog told her and Jack to hide and that he will be okay. p.68 "Jack opened the book. He pointed to a picture of the Frog Creek woods. 'I wish we could go home', he said. The tree house started to spin. The wind started to blow." Jack and Annie are transported back home by the magic tree house. CRISIS p.43 Jack reads from the book on India: "The Indian rhino is a very endangered animal...People called poachers kill them and sell their body parts as medicine and good-luck charms." p.46-47 "'We found something terrible!' Annie was close to tears. 'Really terrible!'...The tiger was lying on his side, completely still. His eyes were closed. His front paw was caught in a trap." p.48-49 Jack reads in the India book: "Poachers catch Indian tigers with steel traps. This is against the law. After trapping a tiger, they kill it and sell the body parts for money. Like the rhino, the tiger is a very endangered species. If the killing does not end, they both face extinction." p.49 "Under the writing was a picture of a steel trap used to catch tigers...It looked horrible and deadly."
