The application and use of a range of electrical components are simple things such as light switches and power sockets, they are mainly used for turning lights on, and for giving an appliance power, some of these appliances may be every day home appliances, but some of the time appliances such as pillar drills and normal handheld drills, but they require a different power socket, because they require a larger electrical output.

Electricity is one of many sources of power. Electronics has only one application: to use electrical power. What you choose to do with that power is up to you (and can make you rich if you are clever enough).

Examples:

Use the power in a battery to run a flashlight.

Apply different levels of power to different inputs of a diode network to get different outputs. (When you type on your keyboard you're doing just that.)

THE APPLICATIONS OF ELECTRONICS is limitless only someone imagination of its application is a limit.

Following are some general area applications for electronics:

Electromagnetic wave propagation, which includes Radio Communications, Radar, Television, Microwave and Satellite Communication, X-Rays, and more.

Data Processing Computing Power applied to Office Management, Banking, Animation, Word Processing, Mathematical Computation, etc.

Process Control Computing Power applied to Robotics, Automotive and Aerospace Vehicle control, Industrial Plant control, etc.

Data Communications (LAN and WAN) and various other Transmission Line systems including Telephone Communication.

Astronomy, Particle Physics Research, ...

Analogue electonics everyone would know is the moving coil multimeter with various arays of resistors that all work to come to a conclusion, digital electronics is newer thinking using digital logic to solve problems, and digital logic built into micro processors or logic gate devices to give an output.

Alternative answer.

Analogue circuits have an output that is a direct analogue of the input signal, as in a simple amplifier. Voltages and currents are manipulated in direct proportion.

External and stray signals can also get in and distort the signal.

Digital circuits, use groups of on or off signals, that are only one state or the other. there is a wide enough difference to distinguish between them. This can then be used to represent numbers. The numbers can be acted upon mathematically and error correction applied.

In this way external, stray and unwanted signals can be eliminated.

What is the difference between power electronics and digital electronics?

in digital electronics, engineers use low voltages like 5 or 12 or 24 volts but when they want to transfer electrical energy in high power which means high voltage and high ampere they use power electronics . in power electronics sometimes the transistor or diode or in power electronics language IGBT and thyristor can work in 10000 volt or higher voltages

What are the differences between electronics and photonics?

I think you mean proton and electron...The main difference is charge. Protons are positive and electrons are negative. The mass of both protons and electrons are almost exactly the same. The size of electrons are slightly smaller than that of protons.

Do inventors have to be people who study electronics?

No! An inventor can be anybody with any occupation (or none at all!). All a person needs to become an inventor is an idea, which is usually followed by a Patent Application. If your invention requires "electronics", you can hire people who specialize in that field to do that part of the work for you. For anyone interested in inventing or the patent application process, Nolo publishes a wonderful book called Patent It Yourself; it only costs about $50 and can be found at most major booksellers.

Who run's international electronics?

R.A.N. INTERNATIONAL ELECTRONICS

What is the requirement of electronics engineering?

Electronics engineering is needed as without electronics no equipment can be utilized just because of electronics we are able to ahieve best result of the advanced technology.
