The three types of stress are acute, episodic, and chronic. Acute is the most common and caused by worries or being upset with something. Episodic stress is when you constantly have acute stress ( you're constantly worrying). Chronic stress damages the body, mind, and emotions. It is normally caused by traumatic events in one's childhood, family life, and relationships etc... People normally need to go to therapy in order to relieve this major stress.
